I took this cougar in Idaho in 1993. I've killed bigger cats since then, but non prettier. I was saving it for something special. My stepson Mike carried this piece of wood off the mountain and it sat around for a while. One day the idea just came to me, I put a lot of time into this piece and it paid off. It won five major awards at the National Taxidermy Association annual competition in Billings including North American Champion, Taxidermist's Choice and People's Choice.
